Help Africa Charity Organization is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphans and vulnerable children through education support, healthcare services, and community-driven programs. Although it does not offer formal grants, the organization provides direct assistance and resources to empower disadvantaged individuals and strengthen communities across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. For the financial year 2025/2026, the organization will support a total of 3,870 beneficiaries, divided into three categories: 1,864 individuals will receive $5,000 each for early-stage projects, 1,206 beneficiaries will receive $15,000 each for medium-scale initiatives, and 800 beneficiaries will receive $20,000 each for larger or high-impact community projects. This brings the total value of support to $44,390,000, underscoring Help Africa Charity Organization’s commitment to sustainable development and long-term community transformation.

GRANT APPLICATION TIER

We offer three grant tiers to help you start or grow your project in Africa. Each tier provides a non-refundable startup fund to support entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders. Below are the details:

Basic Grant Tier

Each approved applicant will receive a grant amount of $5,000 to support their small-scale projects. This funding is specifically aimed at individuals in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania who are engaged in sectors such as agriculture, community development, and other early-stage business initiatives. The grant is intended to provide initial capital that helps kickstart these projects and drive positive impact within their communities.

To apply, there is a non-refundable registration fee of $30. This fee covers the administrative costs of processing applications and helps ensure commitment from applicants.

ADVANCED TIER

Each approved applicant will receive a grant amount of $15,000 to support their medium-scale projects. This funding is intended for individuals and organizations in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania who have a clear business plan and are working in sectors such as agriculture, education, health, or other community impact initiatives. The grant is designed to help grow existing businesses or scale projects that are already creating positive change in their communities.

To apply, there is a non-refundable application fee of $60. This fee contributes to the administrative costs of processing applications and ensures that only serious and committed applicants participate.

PREMIUM TIER

Each approved applicant will receive a grant amount of $20,000 to support larger projects or businesses that require significant capital. This funding is targeted at individuals and organizations in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania who are engaged in sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, health, education, or other large-scale community initiatives. The grant is designed to help scale operations, purchase essential equipment, or implement impactful, wide-reaching projects.

To apply, there is a non-refundable application fee of $120. This fee covers administrative and processing costs and ensures that applicants are serious about utilizing the funds to drive sustainable growth and community development.

Grant Application Process:

  • Processing time is typically 2–3 weeks from the date of submission.

  • Applicants will receive a formal response indicating whether they qualify for support or not.
